Is Your Leadership Team Ready
for the AI Era?

AI Leadership Coaching for Leaders & Teams
Zürich · Switzerland

Five minutes. Ten statements. Find out where your
leadership team stands on AI and what to do about it.

Is Your Leadership Team Ready for the AI Era?

AI is reshaping how decisions get made, how teams are led, and what your people expect from the leaders above them.

Most leadership teams are somewhere
between aware and overwhelmed.

Very few have built the shared capability to
actually lead the change.

This five-minute assessment shows you exactly where your team stands.

What Most Leadership Teams Are Getting Wrong About AI

AI readiness is not about which tools your company has bought. It is not about whether your leaders have attended an AI briefing or completed a digital
literacy course.

It is about whether your leadership team can think together, decide together, and lead others through change — in a world where AI is accelerating faster than most organisations can absorb.

The gaps are rarely visible until something goes wrong:

  • Leaders with no shared direction, each navigating AI on their own

  • Uneven confidence across the team, creating tension nobody names

  • AI decisions that stall because there is no clear process for making them

  • Change arriving in teams before leadership is prepared to guide it

  • Investment in AI tools, with no investment in leadership capability

If any of these sound familiar, you are not alone. They show up in almost
every leadership team we work with.

Where Does Your Leadership Team Stand?

Before you invest in any programme or intervention, it helps to know exactly where the gaps are.

Our short assessment was designed for senior leaders who are responsible for a team or organisation, CEOs, CHROs, Managing Directors,
and division heads, who sense their leadership team is not fully keeping pace with AI, but are not sure what to do about it.

What Does AI Readiness Actually Mean for a Leadership Team?

When most organisations talk about AI readiness, they focus on tools, infrastructure, and training programmes. But for leadership teams, the question is different.

It is not whether your people know how to use the technology.
It is whether your leaders can guide their teams through the disruption it brings.

AI Readiness Is a Leadership Challenge, Not a Technology Challenge

The leaders who struggle most with AI are not the ones who lack technical knowledge. They are the ones whose teams are moving faster than their leadership can guide. AI tools get adopted at ground level, team members develop new habits and expectations, and leadership is often the last to have a clear position on any of it.

By the time the gap becomes visible, it has already been there for months.

AI readiness for a leadership team means having a shared direction, a clear process for making AI-related decisions, and the confidence to lead others through the uncertainty.

These are leadership competencies, not technology competencies.

The Five Signs a Leadership Team Is Not Ready for the AI Era

  • No shared view. Ask any two leaders in the team what the organisation's AI direction is, and you get different answers. Each leader is figuring it out separately

  • Conversations that stay surface-level. AI comes up in leadership meetings, but the team never goes deep enough to make real decisions together. It gets discussed, then moved on from.

  • A confidence divide. Some leaders are actively engaging with AI. Others are holding back or quietly resistant. Nobody is addressing the gap, and it is creating friction underneath the surface.

  • Reactive change management. When AI disrupts a team, a process changes,  a role shifts, a competitor makes an announcement, leaders respond to it as it lands, rather than anticipating and shaping it.

  • Tools without leadership. The organisation has invested in AI tools and offered trainings. It organized champion groups. But nobody has invested in whether the leadership team is equipped to drive the transformation, which those tools are supposed to deliver.

What Leadership Coaching on AI Actually Addresses

Leadership coaching in the AI era is not teaching leaders to use tools. It builds the collective capability that makes AI transformation actually work: shared strategic direction, confident decision-making under uncertainty, and the leadership presence to guide teams through change.

At The Change Republic, we work with leadership teams to close the gaps that matter most:

  • Building a shared AI direction the whole team can align behind

  • Developing the confidence and language to lead AI conversations at board  and investor level

  • Creating a clear process for evaluating and making AI-related decisions

  • Preparing leaders to get ahead of AI-driven disruption, rather than react to it

  • Establishing a structure for building AI capability together as a team,  not just as individuals

How to Know If AI Leadership Coaching Is The Right Next Step

If your leadership team is navigating AI without a shared strategy, ifnconfidence varies widely across the team, or if AI decisions are consistently stalling or getting pushed to one person, a structured coaching intervention is likely to be more effective than another training day or vendor briefing.

The right starting point is understanding exactly where the gaps are in your specific team. That is what the assessment above is designed to show you.

It takes five minutes. The result comes directly to your inbox. And if it points to a conversation being useful, you can book one with no commitment.

If the assessment raises questions you would like to think through with
someone who has worked at senior leadership level across Europe, book a
short discovery call.

No agenda. Just an honest conversation about your team and what the right next step looks like.

Her focus on AI leadership coaching for teams came from a pattern she kept seeing: organisations investing heavily in AI tools while their leadership teams were quietly struggling to lead the change. No shared direction. Uneven confidence. Real decisions being avoided. And nobody naming any of it out loud. That is the gap this work is built to close.

Tünde is ICF and IMD certified, has built AI tools and launched an AI-native business, and speaks internationally on leadership in the AI era. She works with senior leaders and their teams across Zürich, Switzerland, and Europe, coachingin English, German, Italian and Hungarian.
